You'll find that our online TNCC courses are very similar to in-person courses you may have taken in the past. Just like with an in-person class, you'll get an email from ENA with a link to access the online modules. These modules should be completed prior to the course.
On the day of your class, you'll log into the Zoom where you'll meet with live instructors who teach the course material.
For the Trauma Nursing Process teaching and testing scenarios, we use a virtual manikin that ENA developed for online courses. You'll complete your TNP scenario testing with the instructors as part of your course. After the class, you'll get access to the online multiple-choice test in your ENA portal account. You'll have 7 days to take that test.
If you would like to take the course with us, you can register on our website at https://www.traumanurse.org/calendars
Our classes are fully virtual. Both the practical exams and the written test are completed online via video conference. There's no in-person requirement for certification.
Skill testing is included at the end of the class using ENA's virtual manikin. Each participant is given a scenario and talks through how they would assess and manage the patient using the TNP or PNP.
Our classes are live and interactive. Our classes meet on Zoom, and all participants are encouraged to contribute to the discussions. We also have live practice scenarios using ENA's virtual manikin to prepare you for the Trauma Nursing Process test.
The second day is the next calendar day! When booking, select the first day of the class you want to attend, and the next calendar day is automatically included. You can see all our classes on our course calendar.
Yes, these certifications are globally accepted wherever TNCC or ENPC certification is required. Our classes are authorized by the Emergency Nurses Association (ENA), and your certification will be issued by ENA. There's no difference between certifications obtained in-person or virtually. You can generate a verification letter for your employer on ENA's website.
